2010 Review

2010 is one of the most wonderful years me and my dear hubby have. The busiest, the most happening and the happiest.

Quarter 1:
In January, I've been promoted with a 25% increase of salary. Huge increase (thanks to Richard in fighting that for me). In March, my dear hubby has change a new job to KL area which is nearer to my office. One of the reason for changing job is because he can fetch me to work everyday after we move to our new house. Of course, the main reason is, it will be 35% salary increase from his previous job. Oh, we are just so blessed this year. Guess our home sweet home bring us luck =>. Middle of March, we officialy move in to the new house and started our new life with just both of us.

Quarter 2 and 3:
April, the happiest month. We were flying to Taiwan and stayed for 8 days, for our pre-wedding photo shooting and pre- wed honeymoon. Sweetest ever, though the bridal shop is dissapointing, others about Taipei is just wonderful, food , ppl , place. Miss it so much. Of course, and other sweet memories we had there.*secret* hehe.

The following months , we were busying preparing for our wedding ceremony and dinner which will be held in September. Every weekend our schedule will be full with appointment and program.
From listing the guest list, inviting guest, decorate the hometown house, buying the nessecities, liaise with the band on the perfomance agenda and D.I.Y the lamp, videographing our love story.
It sounds like a nightmare to us more to enjoying the process during the period. We just hope that the wedding will come soon as it is really too tired. Marriage is happy, but wedding is not fun at all. That's what come to our mind and how we wish we are just going for vacation wedding.

Times fly so fast, dang dang dang, our wedding approaching. Well prepared but miss out and forget some detail here and there. Wedding ceremony was a nightmare yet a good and life time memory. My MUA broken my wedding gown when the grooms arrived. i just cant control myself and cried out loudly. Crying for more than half and hour, and the games for the grooms and his mate has been keep on dragging so that I can have enough time to find the solution. My aunties, brother all busy finding the solution for me while my sister and cousin was dragging the grooms time. Luckily my youngest aunt is good in tayloring, and she has managed to sew my gown from the bottom of the zip up to the top while I am wearing that. Amazing, with no one notice that.
Wedding dinner is awesome, all the guests like our love story, my hubby perform for his first time in life in front of 800 people, with singing and playing guitar "Wonderful Tonight". I am so touched that he is so daring because of me.
The next day aftter the wedding, we felt so empty, like nothing much to look forward. Owl, we just missed the time we hate before September. We missed the busy moment, the arguing moment, the joyful moment, we just miss everything. I told my habby, how I wish our wedding is next month.

The following week after the wedding ceremony, we departed to Hong Kong for our honeymoon. This is the 4th time I visit HK and the 3rd time for my dear. The reason why we choose Hk,
1.) Budget Constraint (We just spent RM2k in this trip)
2.) Time contraint (We dont have time to plan for the itenary as the wedding preparation used up all of our free time, so we need to go to a plce we are familiar)
3.) I actually like HK very much, like the city life and disneyland and the food. However, I only been to ocean park as my hubby complaints that I've been there for 2 times before.

Quarter 4:
After back from HK, we were almost exhausted. Back to the routine work life, catch up with the pending job in office is most probably waht we did in October.
November, we starts to plan for our Seoul trip in December. Use up almost all of leisure time to surf net, meet up with forum member to get more info, and hunt for the winter clothes.

Seoul trip is wonderful as we bring both our mummies go (my sis going too, she was single that time and use to follow trip together with us). It is happy when you can see the old people enjoying. We share our first snow experience together, we step into the first world country together. Korean BBQ, ginseng chicken, kimchi...we just enjoyed. (Mama, I love you wish I can bring you to more vacation together).
Baby just like to ski and spend whole day in the field while me and my sis just attend the training session and dont even dare to try once. Okay, I am chicky, I dare not went down the slope at all, at least sis tried to ski dwon is squardding post. :-p.
Both mummies spend times indoor chatting and seeing mai's ski. once in a while they do come out to play snow. Hehe. Everland is also a great one which my mummy like most.
The trip is awsome.

A day back from M'sia, I sick terribly for a week. Another week, I went to a business trip in Singapore. Spending a week there until my birthday.

I am not in very good condition in Singapore which I suspecting something already but I didnt tell anyone. On my birthday 30th December, I touch down to M'sia and from airport hubby fetch me to the Curve for celebration. We decided to dine in in Marche restaurant. First time there and quite impressive with the good service, I told the waiter there it is My birthday and guess what, I've a slice of bitrhday cake for free. Hehe.
The night, I told my hubby, I suspecting I am pregnant, he asked me to wait for another few days before doing the pregnancy test as he scared it might be another false alarm. =D
Another day comes and goes, I am ++ sure , so, i insisted to get one HPT from pharmacy the next day.It is a wonderful waiting on 31/12/2010 that ends our year 2010. Full of excitement and anticaipation and we just can't wait the new year day morning to come. The night is long for me, I am so looking forward

如果说婚姻，是爱情的坟墓。

女人闯了进去，不要后悔。哪怕，您看见的不是幸福快乐的天堂，至少您步入的那一刻，是永恒的幸福记忆。

当爱情的黄灯亮起时，女人应该冒险的冲过去，还是准备停下来。。

冲了过去，前面就是幸福， 还是坟墓？我只知道冲了过去，就必须做好再次受伤的准备，再次冒险的准备。因为，爱情的路上，有太多得分岔路，需要作红绿灯的抉择！

停了下来，就能保护自己，不受伤害？也许，从此以后都能够不被伤害，可是，这一次的受伤，足以让她一辈子都回不了爱情的道路。

当男人遇上女人，他的生命有了家人，女人，兴趣和朋友。

Taipei Trip- 2nd Day (9th April 2010)

No photo taken by ourselves on the 2nd day. =p We were too busy becoming superstars on that day.

Photo shooting session was great. We tried very hard to convince ourselves, to stay in a happy mood, no matter what happen.

Our first destination was in the "Da Tong University". Surprisingly, nobody bother to look at us. Even the U students were just passing by in front of us, but they never turn their eyeballs to peep us. "Xiang Ge", our photographer told us that, the students have seen these similar scenes more than the times they eating vegetable. Hehe.

Our following destinations, were all at "Bei Tou and Dan Shui" area.

Second destination was at the "Bei Tou" waterfall. Very nice scenary, all the rock in black colour and it is so refreshing as when you take the photo, the water mist is splashing to your body and face. Wonderful! And, it is actually my first visit to waterfall. Hehe. I have acrophobia and it was kind of unforgetful experience for me to climb up to the rock, with the long heavy gown, just for a nicer effect. (Specially thanks to Xiang Ge who gave me a helping hand by carrying me to the hard to reach site as dear was also shaking his legs standing at the slippery rocks) .What a big scarifice!=p Not to foget to mention about the jungle view opposite the waterfall. Nice!

Our third destination is actually the the oldest church in Dan Shui. We changed the clothes and make up at a public toilet just right infront of the canon park. (P/S: Taipei is a very clean city, even public toilet is as clean as your house =>). So, Xiang Ge suggested us to have some shots there. Surprisingly, the outcome was great, even better than the church view. =>

Our fourth destination is Dan Shui "Yu Ren Ma Tou". Too bad, the weather turned to become very cold and can you imagine I was wearing a night gown in 20c. The photo outcome is not very good as we've chosen a yellow gown which cannot match the scenary and my hairstyle is just..too... over. Only chose 4 photos out of the many photos we taken there.

When we headed back to the studio for the last gown shooting, it was already 5 pm. It is a close up shooting and we like the outcomes too. I think I look elegance, but some of you may think that I look too mature. Anyway, I am just lovin' it.

Photo shooting session ended at about 7pm and we had our dinner in the bridal studio. Thanks to Very Tapei for preparing us the nice dinner. Very efficient Taiwanese style, we had to choose the photo while taking our dinner.


The first thing we did is, choose the "Bed head photo" - photo to be hung on the wall above our bed frame. Dear and I, the perfect couple in the world, shared the same thought. " Just showed us the photo in White Gown, with Red Roses, in front of the Church." Can you imagine, we spoke out at the same time without discussion. I love you dear, for being the worm inside my stomache. Hehe.

Then, we had a big "HU HA" when choosing the rest of 59 poses. Another unpleasant argument, but we managed to close the deal at 10pm with a very rush pace.

We then walked to a relatively small night market for the local people, to grab some supper and we had these, Smelly Toufu and Oyster Mee Sua. Yummy. Wonderful ending for the day.

Just want to say thank you, for

1. becoming the earliest to wake up every morning, and wake me up gently after your shower.
2. fetching me to work everyday
3. giving me a big hug and a gentle kiss after you scolded me
4. helping in my laundry
5. washing my cookware and dinner ware everynight
6. loving me more and more everyday

Muacks, I love you and missing you while at work.... :-p

A letter to Tech Support "Upgrading Boyfriend"

Conversation no longer runs, and Housecleaning simply crashes the system.. I've tried running Nagging to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

Dear Desperate,

First keep in mind, Boyfriend is an Entertainment Package, while Husband is an Operating System. Please enter the command: 'http: I Thought You Loved Me.html' and try to download Tears and don't forget to install the Guilt update.
If that application works as designed, Husband should then automatically run the applications Jewellery and Flowers. But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband to default to Grumpy Silence, Happy Hour or Beer. Beer is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources).Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend program.. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband.
In summary, Husband is a great system, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance.
We recommend Food and Hot Lingerie..

Global Gold Price

I've put in another live chart index. "Global gold Price".

Initially, my main purpose is to keep my dear updated on the current gold price as he will be taking care on our wedding bands. So, he must be very alert on the right time to buy in.

The calculation is per below.
1. Convert the global price to /gram price.
Conversion : 1 troy ounce = 31.1034768 grams

2. Convert the USD to RM base on current currency exchange rate.
Might refer to oanda.com.

I will try to upload a Malaysia Gold Price Index Chart, but I am still figuring on how to work on it.

Hehe.

But, then, I found out, by monitoring on the gold price fluctuation, we might find a good time to invest on gold as well.

Marriage Proposal (2)

A group of T.G.I's staff coming out from the kitchen holding a cake. I never thought it was mine. Never. I told him: " you see, there is ppl sharing same birthday with me!"

Yet, they came to our place and i was forced to stand up on the chair. Singing a song and blowing the candles from a far distance. Luckily I am sporty enough. Hehe. They then sang me a birthday song and another 1..i named it "Friday's" song.

After they dismissed, he asked them to gather again at our place which i initially thought is to take photo together. When all ppl was there for us, he started his announcement. "This is the awesome thing that I have ever done in public and now, I would like all of you to become our eye-witnesses"

I was laughing and yet my mind still can't figure out what is he trying to do. I am pretty sure I was really shocked by him and I can only laugh by not thinking anything. He then knee down in front of me and starts singing:

"If I put down on my knee and pleaded with you;
If I cross million of ocean just to be with you;
Would you ever, let me down;
.........................................."

I can't hold my tears from dropping. I was really touched. I never expect this to be so soon and he will be so daring. The proposal ring was worn in my ring finger and I just hug him tight, real tight.

I am so happy and so touched. Thanks, Baby.

I can't describe the level of happiness I am having. I can't stop thinking even in the bed. I can't fall asleep as it keep replaying in my mind.

I never think he will be so daring. Kneeing down and singing in front of public. Gotten a lot of wishes from ppl around us. It was a big surprise for me. "Not so soon, not so soon". This is what always come out from his mouth. Haha, he is a big liar and yet, what a beautiful lie.

I was surveying my wedding gowns selection for my actual day and come across this Bridal Studio in China in "Taobao". According to forum, this website is reliable and they have actually bought the gowns from this site before.

I chat with Jessie, the studio owner via MSN and she is a nice girl and very helpful indeed.

After go through their product galary, I've shortlisted item below:

~This is the tuxedo that I chose for my baby-RMB199~

~This is the gown I choose for my Actual Day- RMB150( 2nd hand)~I love A line dress.

The price is very reasonable, in fact it can be called as 'cheap'. Haha.

I am very happy and asked Jessie to quote me the postage fees. She confirmed the weight (5kgs) and decided to use 圆通快递-RMB260.

WEDDING GOWNS

I am really headache with my wedding gown and evening gown for my actual day as my package with Very Taipei is only for the photo shooting.



Well, I've surveyed around, the rental of these gowns is not cheap. the average prive for rental average range of 1 wedding gown+ 1 evening gown +1 groom coat is around RM900- RM1000.



Will this cost extra for us? Photo shooting package RM3XXX + Actual day gowns RM1XXX + Car Decor/ Flower bouquet/ Accessories RM5XX= RM4XXX. Hmm, seems like not within our budget. In fact this is our concern when we signed up the photo shooting package!



So, I decided to do more study in the forum, to see how can I cut the budget, even a little bit here and there will do. As what malay always say: Saving a bit and a bit will become a mountain (sikit sikit menjadi bukit)

Very Taipei Bridal Studio

Breif intro on this studio.

Located at 台北市中山北路二段162號.

Established in Yr 1996 and in Yr 1999, it was the first Taiwanese Bridal Studio that used digital camera technologies. Founded by Ray Lin-林政儒. (老板的仔)

Rush Decision

That Friday, he called up and asked: "Baby, still remember that I told you this week there is a Bridal Fair at Mid Valley?" I wonder why he suddenly so interested in this kind of fair as I think he never think about our wedding before.

Feeling weired yet I said yes. There was suddenly a heavy down pour at the evening and I suggested to cancel the plan as I told him that no hurry to visit this kind of fair as we do not know when is our wedding day and we never planned of it but yet he insisted.

When we were there, there was not much ppl. We went inside and looked around. I pointed at one big poster saying: " Baby (this is how we address each other) , see there are Bridal Studio from Taiwan & Hong Kong!" I am so excited, in fact I told him long time ago that I wish to go to Taiwan for Pre-Wedding photo shooting + Pre- Honeymoon., and he always answer "See how first, our house going to be ready, have to spend a lot of money for renovation!" Haha, this is him, my dear baby, whenever come to money, his face will twist.

When we by passed the counter, 2 girls came to approach us: " 嗨,先生小姐您好!过来看看我们家的婚纱照吧, "非常台北",有听过吗?!" We looked at each other for a second and sat down at a round table. Well, we like the style and angle of shooting of their photographer. Of course, we like the scenery in Taiwan- 淡水,渔人码头,熏衣草园....etc.

We told them that the type of photograph style and effect we like. Then, here come the most interesting part. The package detail! They asked us how many poses we like, how many gowns we want, this and that but we have totally no idea as we were both mentally not well prepared for that, but I just acted like I am that kind of expert. As you guys know, I am a buyer and I will never be scared of that kind of situation. I question them back: how many poses you can offer?

I just bargained "kau kau" with them though I am not interested to sign up. After the bargaining session, we come out with a conclusion on the package detail:

1.)Gowns:-WG: 3 Pcs ; EG/Themed costume: 2 Pcs (PS)

2.)Coats & Shirts (For groom):-1 set of White Coat + Pants, 1 set of Black Coat + Pants

3.)Photos PS: 60poses (30 poses-Album Size: 12" x 18"; 30 poses-Album Size 10"X15" ;Che Mui Photo-20 Pcs,2 Poses ; 3" x 5" (Full page, 30poses, same with the middle size album)

4.)Makeup & Hairstyle: 5 different make up and hair style to match with the gowns.

5.)Other Makeup Hidden Cost:

• Ampules-RM50/ bottle
• Eye lashes-FOC
• Body Foundation-FOC
• Hair Spray-FOC
• Silicon Bra-Not included
• Taxi + Driver Fare (for outdoor)-RM270 for 5 hours
• Postage Fee RM300

We agreed on the above package and asked the lady boss to quote us the price.

"我现在给你们一个包你们满意的价钱!" said the lady boss! She writes the price on a piece of paper and told us not to read out. (I guess what she want to show us by doing this is that the price is very attractive).

RM3XXX.

Oh, not bad, i mumble inside my heart. However, due to my job spirit , I can't stop to bargain a better price, I don't know why, in fact I am not ready to sign up any package! He just looked at me and let me do the job!

Finally, she offered RM2XXX. Good deal and he agreed! However, she insisted us to pay for the deposit while we are not ready, we told them our wedding day will be on someday in 2010 but she said there is no expiry date for the package.

We struggle very much and afraid that there is no more good deal like this in future! (Oh, photo Shooting in Taiwan only RM2XXX??Make no difference with Malaysia package price On the other hand, we afraid we have made the decision too rush and will regret one day! After 3 hours negotiation and chit chatting, we still couldn't make any decision! The boss (should be son of the boss, 老板的仔)Ray, come to approach us and said: " You guys pay the deposit now, if after doing some thinking, you guys not satisfied, I'll return the deposit to you!"

With his word, baby immediately agreed and pay for the deposit. I understand my dear type, he always told me that if little money can buy the knowledge of a person character, he won't mind!
