It was a long christmas holiday. I didnt went for the count down celebration as i HATE the "spraying" thing. Hehe. At Sunday morning, we went to Melaka for 1 day trip. All things was great except the satay celup!
It was almost 2p.m. when we reach Melaka Town. The traffic was very bad along the way from Seri Kembangan to Ayer Keroh Exit. There are ppl going to Seremban, A' famosa, and Mlk Town.
We have our very first meal - Chicken Rice ball once we arrived. The chicken taste good, hmm, chicken rice ball is okay ...hmm, the bean sprouts is great. Hehe.

Then, we go to Baba Ny0nya Musuem. It is great place to visit. RM8 per entries for adult. There is "tour guide" explaining to us the building structure, decoration and Baba Nyonya traditional custom. For you guys information, I am have 1/8 Nyonya genetic running inside my blood. Haha, my father's grandmother is a nyonya. Too bad that we couldn't take photo inside.

The next stop is the cendol ice at Jonker Street. The cendol ice is okay okay. The the gula melaka is very rich in coconut flovour but the only thing personally I think spoilt the taste is the Santan in packet .

Then, on our way from Jonker Street to the "Red House", there is a stall selling hand made Dodol, it is very fesh and less sweetness compare to the mass production dodol.

The "red house" is beautiful. There is a little windmill and the building is unique. Along the way, we can see a lot of tricycle decorated beautifuly to fetch the tourist. I didnt ask for the rate, but managed to snatch few photos with the "Beca".

After that, we walked few street aways to taste the so call famous satay celup. Arriving at the first restaurant, we can see there was a really long que which we decided to go for the next which is not so "famous" thinking it might be more or less the same. God, it was the bad memory we have and ruin up our good mood of the day. Service was bad, food not much variety, and the sausce was really oilly and dark in colour.

The we go to Jonker Steet again to visit the Night Market that only held on fridays and weekend. Ver happening market. A lot of special stuff that we can't see on the normal night market at KL. I have a chocolate dipped grappes, taste ok.

The last places we initially planned to go is Portugis Village to taste the Portugis food. However, we lost our way to take our car and we go one big round. Our legs were tired and our stamache were hungry. Then we decided to just have our dinner "char kuey teow" at the stall beside the shoplots. Probably, we were realy hungry, the smell was so good but once we eaten few spoon of the fried kuew teow, we acttually feel full and realize that it was actually a normal one.
That "char kuey teow"conclude our trip. But overall, it is a sweet memory. Hehe, and I suppose it was my early Birthday celebration though.
